What to do if you are not satisfied?

Most patients are satisfied with their dentist (or dental specialist). You probably are too. Even so, it can happen on occasion that you feel he or she informed or treated you incorrectly or without due care. It is important that you do something about that dissatisfaction.

Talk to your dentist

Ask for a clarifying conversation with your dentist. This usually resolves a lot of ambiguities already. You can indicate what you find unclear. And the dentist can explain once more why he or she did something in a particular way. Moreover, it is important for the dentist to know that you have a problem. You can then look for a solution together.

If you have a need for a third, neutral party, then you can submit your complaint to the KNMT, KNMT Complaint form, the professional association this practice is affiliated with. An independent complaints officer will then mediate free of charge between you and your dentist. With the aim of finding a solution.
